Crooked River Roundup Queen Coronation

SKH’s own Martin Thompson attended the Crooked River Roundup Queen Coronation and Kick-off Party. Other guests included Suzie Pape and Pat McCabe. The event began with a social hour, followed by dinner and the awards. After the rodeo board members were acknowledged and awards were given out, Dick Cain was announced as the 2018 grand marshal.

At the event longtime area resident, Linda Smith, acknowledged Jody Stahancyk personally as the Queen’s largest yearly sponsor. Martin received a beautifully framed picture of 2017 queen, Sarah Tolton, on Jody’s behalf. Martin said he was proud to be attending on behalf of the firm, and particularly on behalf of SKH founder, Jody Stahancyk, who has a profound fondness for this community and has proudly supported the roundup and the queen for over 20 years.

Queen Riann was crowned after 2016 Queen, Randi Johnson, acknowledged Jody for her sponsorship and pointed out that she was wearing a beautiful Pendleton jacket that was given to her by Jody.

At that time Martin offered Queen Riann a beautiful Pendleton blanket gift on behalf of the firm and wished her the best of luck.

During the event, and especially afterward, numerous people approached Martin offering their gratitude for Jody’s and SKH’s sponsorship.
